Continuous Flow Hot Water Systems show case some of the most adavanced hot water technology.
These units are stylish and compact and produce endless hot water, often amazing our clients.
The model number of the unit (eg Rinnai Infinty 26), denotes the Litres per minutes output generally raising the water temperature 25'c
The higher the number, the more hot water in a minute.
Mains pressure is usually around 30L per minute, sometimes less.
These units can be very efficient, however some clients get so used to the endless hot water that they start having longer showers and the bills naturally go up.
Why doesn't everyone have one of these amazing hot water units?
A major limitation for the installation of these units is available gas supply.
Unlike your storage hot water unit, that takes it's time slowly heating and storing hot water. The continuous flow needs to heat the water as quickly as it's required, to do so in needs a big gas supply.
This is not an issue when changing from an existing continuous flow of similar size but when changing from a storage hot water unit in most cases the gas piping needs to be upgraded.
